So, it was brought up in class last week as you guys were prepping for the subjunctive quiz that it would be handy to have all of the grammar info in a quick info sheet. So today in class, the students who were not hard at work taking the PSAT test (I hope you all did well!) worked on starting their grammar infographic. Here's what I asked them to add to it:
Present tense:
regular verb examples (one for each kind of verb -AR, -ER, -IR)
irregular verbs
stem-changing verbs
Past tense:
Preterite
regular verb examples
irregular verbs
stem-changing verbs (if they change and how they change)
Imperfect
regular verb examples
irregular verbs (there's only 3)
Future tense:
regular verb examples
irregular verbs
Subjunctive:
what it's used for
how to form it
irregulars
Tu commands because they are different than subjunctives.
Just a few suggestions: This is for you. Please include everything that I asked for, but organize however it would help you. Also, I would color code changes, like verb endings and/or stem-changing verbs' spelling changes.
This is due Wednesday. You can find the info in your grammar books or check out websites.
